CLASScls.spa.numeral-fraccionario

numeral fraccionario

The numeral that names one part of a whole divided into equal parts, either as a noun or as a word modifying one.

This is the one sub-class whose membership is computed rather than listed, because a denominator above ten is formed by a suffix on the cardinal stem and the suffix applies without limit. The class is therefore marked open, and no roster of it can be exhaustive. Three kinds of residue sit outside the rule and are stored. The half has two words of its own, one that modifies a noun and agrees with it and one that is a noun in its own right. The third has a shape that belongs to no other series. The denominators from four to ten are the ordinals reused as nouns, which is why those entries carry membership in two sub-classes rather than one.

An empty list, which is an assertion: this rests on nothing external, and somebody checked. It is not the same as nobody having looked.

Openness and membership

class.openness

Whether the class can be listed at all, and whether its members are written down or worked out.

opennessopenness
opennew members keep arriving, so no list of them is ever finished
membershipmembership

Everything joined to this object

One group per typed edge, in both directions. A1b guarantees no object node is an orphan, so this is the whole navigation: an object with no edges would have failed the build rather than reached this page.

What this object is a kind of

Walking this object's own `is-a` edges: what it is a kind of. Several branches from one object are several classification axes, not competing supertypes.

dimensions in viewnumeral-type

Siblings are listed by name, then by id to break ties. That is a display choice made here and not an order the graph asserts.

Fan-out per dimension

A4

One row per dimension, largest first. That is a display order, not a verdict: 03-schema.md declares no threshold above which fan-out is too much, so this reports the count and grades nothing.

What kinds of this object there are

Walking the `is-a` edges that point at this object: what kinds of it there are. An object reachable two ways is drawn in both places and is still one object.
