CLASScls.spa.plural-en-es

plural en es

A noun that forms its plural by adding es, the pattern taken by nouns ending in a consonant and by some ending in a stressed vowel.

The pattern is computed from the final segment of the singular, so membership requires no listing. Two conditions feed it: a noun ending in a consonant, and a noun ending in one of the stressed high vowels, though the second condition competes with the shorter pattern and both plurals are accepted for many of the nouns that meet it. Two further effects follow mechanically. A noun ending in the letter z respells that letter before the ending, which is the nominal counterpart of the orthographic alternation in the verb, and a noun with final stress loses its written accent in the plural because the stress is no longer final. The class is open, and it is the pattern a new consonant-final borrowing joins.

Everything joined to this object

One group per typed edge, in both directions. A1b guarantees no object node is an orphan, so this is the whole navigation: an object with no edges would have failed the build rather than reached this page.

What this object is a kind of

Walking this object's own `is-a` edges: what it is a kind of. Several branches from one object are several classification axes, not competing supertypes.

A word that names an entity and that carries a gender of its own, so that every word agreeing with it has to match that gender.

Siblings are listed by name, then by id to break ties. That is a display choice made here and not an order the graph asserts.

Fan-out per dimension

A4

One row per dimension, largest first. That is a display order, not a verdict: 03-schema.md declares no threshold above which fan-out is too much, so this reports the count and grades nothing.
